Accutek’s Aerospace and Defense testing experience includes testing projects for military and government agencies, as well as Tier I and Tier II government suppliers. Accutek’s staff and faculty are equipped to work with an array of metals, composites and cutting edge materials that are required for aerospace and defense applications. Accutek’s mechanical testing qualifications include static and dynamic fatigue, welding and fracture mechanics testing. Mechanical testing can provide the information necessary to improve the mechanical performance of materials and components for the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Accutek performs metallographic and failure evaluations involving metals, coatings, assemblies and weldments in our metallurgical lab.
Test procedures can be customized to client product protocols or to meet product performance goals. Our full-service testing facility can also provide specialized solutions to meet your testing needs. With our in-house machine shop, Accutek can design and fabricate custom test fixtures or machines on a per project basis.
Accutek is a qualified Pratt & Whitney commercial laboratory for more than 15 years that specializes in aerospace metallography. Accutek’s instruments are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
